The director, composer, and electronic engineer of SYNTHESIS 2020, Sanford Hinderlie is known as a jazz pianist, musical demonstrator and performer of computer music. Based in New Orleans, where he regularly performs as a jazz pianist, Hinderlie has performed throughout the world, including concerts and festivals in the Far East, the former Soviet Union, the Republics of Georgia and Armenia, the Middle East, and Europe. As a composer and performer of electronic music, his compositions appear at music festivals and conferences throughout the United States.
